We request, authenticate, and ship your National Pension Enrollment Certificate to you — no trip to Korea required. It confirms your National Pension enrollment history: which workplaces and periods you contributed during.
Officially: 국민연금 가입증명서 / Certificate of Coverage, issued by the National Pension Service (NPS).
A National Pension Enrollment Certificate issued in Korea isn't automatically valid abroad — it needs to be authenticated before a foreign pension authority, court, or agency will accept it. If your destination country is a member of the Hague Apostille Convention, we obtain a Hague Apostille for your certificate from Korea's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which is recognized directly by foreign institutions without further authentication. If your destination country is not a Hague Convention member, we complete Consular Confirmation instead — the certificate is first authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, then confirmed by your destination country's embassy or consulate in Korea. Either an apostilled or a consular-confirmed certificate is the version accepted for pension refund claims, cross-border pension coordination, and divorce settlements involving Korean pension assets.
This service is for anyone who contributed to Korea's National Pension system and now needs proof of that enrollment history authenticated for use abroad — including former workers filing a lump-sum refund claim, providing pension proof to a foreign authority, or handling a divorce settlement involving Korean pension assets. You do not need a Korean bank account, Korean mobile number, or Digital Certificate (Joint Certificate) — a signed power of attorney and identity verification are enough for us to request the certificate on your behalf.
There are two ways to get a National Pension Enrollment Certificate authenticated for use abroad once you've left Korea.
Option 1 — Handle it yourself. You can request the certificate directly from the National Pension Service (which requires Korean identity verification, and in many cases an in-person visit or a Korean-resident representative), then bring it to Korea's Ministry of Foreign Affairs for an Apostille, or to your destination country's embassy or consulate in Korea for Consular Confirmation. This is possible without a service, but it typically requires a trip back to Korea or a Korean resident acting on your behalf.
Option 2 — Use GetKoreanDocs. We request the certificate on your behalf, complete the Apostille or Consular Confirmation, and ship the finished document to you internationally, without you needing to set foot in Korea.
Covers issuance and Hague Apostille certification, for destination countries that are Hague Convention members.
For destination countries that are not Hague Convention members. Final pricing depends on your destination country's embassy or consulate in Korea, and is confirmed during your consultation.

No. This certificate is a simple confirmation that you were enrolled — which workplaces, and for how long. If you need a detailed month-by-month contribution breakdown for combining pension periods between Korea and your home country, you need the Pension Calculation Enrollment Details instead.
It's officially known as 국민연금 가입증명서 (Certificate of Coverage), issued by the National Pension Service (NPS).
Apostille and Consular Confirmation packages generally take 6 or more business days to process, not including international shipping. Exact timing depends on your destination country and is confirmed during your consultation.

That's common — tell us your destination country during your free consultation, and we'll confirm the correct authentication path before anything is charged.
