Remote Issuance & Authentication
GetKoreanDocs issues Korean criminal record certificates, academic records, and other Korea-issued public documents remotely, with no trip to Korea required. Based on where you're submitting, we apply the Apostille or Consular Legalization your destination requires and deliver the finished document to you — all as one continuous process, from a single provider.
Before You Submit
Every document listed below needs one more step before the receiving country will accept it — and which step applies depends entirely on where you're submitting it.
A single certification stamp issued by Korea's Ministry of Justice (e-Apostille). Some documents require notarization first — we handle that step as well when it applies.
A two-step legalization: confirmation by Korea's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), followed by confirmation from your destination country's embassy or consulate in Korea. Notarization is completed first when required.
Most applicants don't know whether their destination country requires an Apostille or Consular Confirmation — or that notarization is often required first. Once you tell us where the document is going, we apply the certification that country requires, including notarization when it's a prerequisite, as one process.
Check My Country's RequirementThe Process
The same process applies to every document type — only the issuing office changes.
01
Tell us which document you need and where it's being submitted. No Korean phone number, Digital Certificate (공동인증서), or physical visit required on your end — you sign a power of attorney and provide identity verification, and we handle the rest directly with the issuing agency.
02
We request the document on your behalf from the relevant Korean government office — police, university, or public agency.
03
Based on the destination country you provide, we apply Apostille or Consular Confirmation as required — including notarization first, when that's a prerequisite.
04
Your completed, authenticated document is shipped directly to your address, anywhere in the world.
What We Handle
Each category covers the situations foreign nationals most often need it for. Not sure which applies to you? The consultation is free.
Issued through the National Police Agency, authenticated for use abroad.
Diplomas, transcripts, and degree verification issued by Korean institutions.
Public records from your time in Korea, issued by the relevant government agency and authenticated for submission to a foreign institution.
Why GetKoreanDocs
Once you leave Korea, you lose the ID verification tools the government system requires. That's the actual problem we solve.
01
GetKoreanDocs requests and issues documents without you visiting Korea in person or completing Korean mobile phone verification. Instead, you sign a power of attorney and provide identity verification (such as a passport copy), and we handle the request directly with the issuing agency under that authorization.
02
We manage the entire process on your behalf — coordinating document issuance, notarization by a licensed notary, and Apostille or Consular Legalization through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the relevant embassy.
03
Operated by WHO.M.I GLOBAL Inc., the company behind allminwon.com (Korea Integrated Civil Petition Center) — a private licensed agency service, not a Korean government office.
04
Completed, authenticated documents shipped internationally to your current address.
FAQ
Yes. GetKoreanDocs requests, receives, and authenticates the document with the relevant Korean government agency on your behalf — entirely from abroad. You sign a power of attorney and verify your identity remotely (such as with a passport copy); Korean mobile verification and an in-person visit are not required.
It depends on the document. A Korean Criminal Record Certificate typically takes about 12 business days for issuance and authentication; Korean academic documents (diploma, transcript) typically take 8 to 10 business days. These figures cover preparation and authentication only — international shipping to your address is separate and varies by destination country. Exact timing is confirmed during your consultation.
Yes. If your destination country isn't a Hague Apostille Convention member, we use Consular Confirmation (Consular Legalization) instead — a two-step process confirmed by Korea's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) and then by your destination country's embassy or consulate in Korea.
That's exactly the situation GetKoreanDocs is built for. Instead of Korean mobile verification, you authorize GetKoreanDocs with a power of attorney and verify your identity with documents like your passport — we handle the request directly with the issuing agency under that authorization.
